Safeguarding is about ensuring we have a culture of safety and welfare around activities we undertake in West Cheltenham. It is about promoting the best possible care for children, young people and adults, preventing abuse from occurring, protecting those who are at risk of abuse, and identifying and responding to abuse where it has occurred. Where someone may present a risk to others, it is also about us being ready to support them whilst effectively acting to mitigate any risks.
