Whether you’re planning to come to church for the first time or are just new to St Mark, we’d love to welcome you.

Not sure what to expect?

we hope you'll find some answers here.

We welcome all comers to join in and share our activities. Please explore the pages of this site, talk to someone after our services or contact us to find out more about what is going on in the church and how you can participate. There’s so much going on, there will be a place for you.

We are in a residential area and parking is on the street and free up to four hours.  There are some spaces for cars on our site which we reserve for the disabled or elderly.  Our services are all held in the main church building. There is disabled access and toilet facilities and we operate a hearing loop system. Our building is old and so is our heating system!  We do our best to make sure the church is heated in the winter but it is not always as warm as we would like. We hope the welcome you receive is always warm.

To the side of the church we have a hall which is used for many of our gatherings especially those including food! Some of our children's groups take place in the 3 rooms in the hall during our 10.30 am Sunday services.

There’s so much more to church than Sundays so we hope you’ll take a look around this site and come and talk to us soon!

St Mark is a group of people from mixed backgrounds and with a wide age range. Many of us have struggled to find or to hold onto faith at times. Our lives are still "untidy" in some ways. We believe God loves us all and that's what holds us together. We try to support and encourage each other - sometimes we fail! Most of us live on the west side of Cheltenham and we want to show our community that Jesus Christ is Good News for us all.
