This week 40 children and 20 helpers/adults took part in 3 mornings of Monster Madness at the holiday club. There were plenty of action songs and games and the Messy Monster Challenge involving a lot of custard which the leaders ended up wearing!!

The children made masks, clay monsters, hand puppets, furry smelly monsters, eyeballs and monster feet.  Lots of paint, glue, sellotape and fun, fun, fun.

Through the sessions the children have had a positive experience of Christianity. They have learned bible verses, heard bible stories and, most importantly, been told of God’s love for them.

We were especially pleased to welcome members of the After School Club at St Mark’s Junior School - a good example of how one thing leads to another.

The holiday club is always a great team effort and we were grateful for members of our youth group putting back into the holiday club energy and faith having ‘graduated’ from it themselves. Other church members took time off work to be part of the team. We thank everyone for their contribution.
